PRIZES AND PRESENTATIONS
The fifteen volumes of the Complete Works of Pushkin in English
are now to be found around the world in famous public institutions,
and in the private libraries of individuals. See below, pictures
of a varied selection of awards, prestigious ceremonial occasions,
Pushkin lectures, and presentations of the Works, by the chairman
of the Editorial Board, Iain Sproat.
HIGH HONOUR

Professor James Falen (left)
received the high literary honour of the Pushkin Medallion
from the Russian Ambassador, Mr. Y. Ushakov, for his brilliant
translation of Eugene Onegin. This translation is contained
in Volume 4 of the Complete Works of Pushkin in English.
The presentation to Professor Falen took place at the
Russian Embassy in Washington where he also received a
volume of the Complete Collection of Pushkin's drawings. |
